The portfolio included two Perth facilities, a 99 bed home in Como and a 112 bed home in Subiaco, and the homes will be known as Bethanie Como and Bethanie Subiaco.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bethanie, Chris How, says the acquisition provides reassurance to Berrington residents and their families and continues employment for the Berrington staff.

“We are excited to include the Como and Subiaco homes in our growing business portfolio in Western Australia. These premium facilities will complement and expand our service offering whilst fulfilling our mission to deliver the highest standard of care to the aged care community,” says Mr How.

“From our humble beginnings of supporting seven residents, to now caring for over 4,500 West Australians, we would like to welcome all residents, families and employees to the Bethanie family.”
